Yeah, they didn't need to throw the ball Wallace. SC couldn't stop the run one bit. Ball control my man and a lot of those SC passing yards came from prevent defense late in the game.
No biggie, it just wasn't a ball game at all, one sided for most of the contest. BC had 54 carries for an average of 8.4 yards a pop, so who can blame them for not chucking the rock?
USC was up in that game 17-6 and it was a 6 point game with 3 minutes left... totally a no contest
while I agree all things considered we deserved to lose that game, but we certainly had a chance to escape Chesnut Hill with a win.
Wilcox turned UW's defense around very fast. I have no idea why they are struggling on that side of the ball, but he's a hell of a coach. I do know Sark learned his lesson with holding on to Holt way too long. If it's not working he now knows the importance of dealing with it swiftly.
USC's defense is fine, scholarship's are killing them at the end of games... coincidentally when they start playing bad?
