Getting to be an OC in the PAC12 is impressive in itself IB. Yep JS is a Beaver, best we ever had really. But my ass is not red here, I could care less really. I hope for the best for JS, may not work out for him in Seattle, but getting the opportunity at such a young age speaks volumes.

I am left wonder IF keeping OC JS on the staff is a reflection of your new coach IF JS is as bad as you fans are saying.

I know you guys won't say it, so I will.

IS Coach P as stupid as you all lead us to believe about OC JS? Why has Coach P kept OC
JS on staff up to this point in time w/o firing his lil' shit ass? When will Coach P take responsibility for the offensive woes? IS OC JS the sacrificial lamb here? When will Coach pull the trigger on this OC clown?

Point fingers all day long if you must, but in the end point em at the guy ultimately responsible for your team instead.

Theres no if, ands, or buts about it. He's terrible. Looking back to the 0-12 season and like opponents to this point and Tys offense embarrasses Smiths.

He was a bad QB coach at BSU. He's a bad QB coach and OC here. He sucked with Southwick. Thats all of his FBS experience. He isnt ready for the pac. They were happy to see him leave. I didn't want him from the get-go based on their rants. And they were right!

How coach Pete handles it will be telling. I damn sure hope he doesnt wait as long as Sark did with Holt when the writing was all over the wall. But I don't perceive Coach Pete as the type that fires mid-season.

I'll point my finger at the OC or any other assistant thats not doing his job. It's gone on all year, some of us seen it long before others. Now the entirety of the fan base except those who don't know football are starting to see it as well.

But once again, you offer your praise and defense of him yet have nothing to base it off of. You have to go back to Montana to find any success with Smith. He's been a disaster at the FBS level.

What good has Smith done as an OC/QB coach at UW? Make the argument to keep him around based off of results. Go for it.

Glad to hear ya know what your talking about IB...Nice O-line the Huskies have, full of seniors except fo one as of last night...I'll give ya your RG is outstanding and missing from the equation w/ injury, but what's the story with the rest of em? Pointed your fingee at your O-linemen coach yet? What's his name?

Thats something to build upon, yet Washington (Dwayne) has had his ypc cut in half.
It's called bad play calling. If you choose to not pass the ball downfield to your playmakers, which we have a lot of, all the D has to do is stack the box and you aint running much.

I think Kasen finished the night with as many tackles as he had receptions. He's a receiver btw... and at one point an excellent one...

Strausser has had some people question him, Ive looked his way as well, but the fact is the play calling has been shit. Thats on Smith.

Did you see whenever the ball was hiked to the punters last night? That was an adventure to say the least. Throwing was not easy either...I aint the coach on site up there OR a QB, but that was a tough environment to play in no doubt...for BOTH teams.

Don't get me wrong...I love to play "Monday morning QB" as the rest of us do. Put me or you in the OC call box on gameday and we fuckup just like all the rest of em do. Drop your QB back into the pocket (red shirt FROSH) last night and your asking for a disaster to happen.

I'm not jumping ship either. Ive already said before the ASU game that I expect a decent season regardless of the outcome.

We'll win some more games. In spite of Smith.

And the fact is I don't believe Coach Pete would fire him mid-season no matter how much me and some others would like to see it. So at the end of the day we have no choice but to give him the benefit of the doubt for the rest of the year.
