Good luck to Cal as they will be finally facing something called a defense with players like Shelton, Kikaha, and Thompson rested up and ready to unload on them.

Go Dawgs!!! :suds:

Doesn't UW have 3 of the top 5 sack leaders in the PAC?

Doesn't UW have 3 of the top 5 sack leaders in the PAC?

And 3 true freshmen starters in their secondary.

which wins out: A pass rush like they haven't seen this year or kids that are out of position at times that leave throwing lanes wide open for them?

And has Jonathan Smith been able to teach our QB to hit a damned bubble screen with the runner in stride at least? :L Two weeks is a long time, but there's a reason several HC's in the conf passed on going for Miles. His throwing mechanics are really weird. He does not have a short/compact throw.

I just want to see if UW can rack up some rushing yards and if Smith will again discover he has one of the fastest players in the conference in Ross and actually design a play or two to get him the ball in space. :gaah:

I like our chances at interrupting that Cal passing attack with plenty of pressure from the front 7. Cal's D is still a joke so great op for the Husky offense to go to work as it did in the EWU, Illi, and Georgia St. games.

Wow, kind of extra crappy week in sports. Been awhile since I've had one this bad. Even my daughter's 8 year old girls soccer team lost.

rumor is Mariota banged up again. 7 sacks at WSU will do that. not sure how valid it is though.

Hint: Those of you struggling on your picks might want to just do the opposite of vitamike each week.

:peep:

Be careful, I did this on this week's picks!

Damn, picked the wrong week to take the opposites!

That would have been an epic comeback if you had stayed with your original then. You'd be up to 21 points and solidly in the middle of the pac.

And WSU has a losing record.. Leach is kind of an idiot.

Not really. Look what he started with and where he is now. Wazoo will be a respectable and competitive team in another year or two under Leach. Remember, we all laughed when he got a raise -now he's earning it. Checked him out when ASU was looking for a coach; interesting.

We need to know a little more about this, Oly. He really didn't look like himself Thursday; maybe he just wasn't getting the support he usually does. Big game v UCLA for both teams, not to mention us weekly pickers.

hard to know if it is legit or just rumor as some fans will say anything to justify a loss.

My wife spent the day hanging out with her Mom and decided to stay the night over there. She was texting me during the game. After the Hail Mary, she texts: OMG!!!!!!! I'll never text during an SC game again!! Now I know why you hate it when friends text you during the game. Frickin' hell mary!

I was in the stands with my 15 year old and he says dad dont they know theres no time left ? Why were they trying to catch it instead of just knock it down? Even he knew and he plays water polo in HS.lol

If Mariota was banged up after the WSU game, and helfrich sends him out to receive a pass on a trick play, then just fire him now. Because he's dumb as a rock if thats the case.

Mariota didnt look banged up to me trucking 2 AZ defenders on his way to a receiving TD.

ALL BS in my OP as well...Zona did what teams need to do against the Ducks...Keep Mariota on the sidelines by moving the chains on their own offensive possessions...simply as that.

Zona ran the ball very well last Thurday night and THAT is the reason they won at Autzen.

Can your team run the ball? Can your team move the chains consistently? Can your team keep Mariota on the sidelines and the TOP on your side all night?

Answer these questions would ya...:noidea:
