Happy to have Jakub Vrana back with the Caps. 2 years at $3.35 million per year sounds pretty good given that he could be a 30-goal scorer in the next couple seasons. He had 24 goals (3rd on the team) with 23 apples this past season playing in all 82 games, improving his D, and finishing a +20 on the year.

Would it really affect the Oilers wins and losses? Probably not much. He's good for a few extra points in the standings but whether you're 6 points out of the last playoff spot or 15 points out come Christmas, does it really matter?
