As soon as I posted it I jumped in the shower with my clothes, and stood on a heavy rubber mat (in case of lighting) and will probably go to confession very soon! LOL

I have to say that I am blessed. I still have my mom and papa and Dad and Jane and my siblings.

I was sitting here looking at this and I had to chuckle @ my fam and their NFL teams:

Dad ~ Dolphins
Jane ~ Patsies
sis B ~ Colts
sis H ~ Dolphins (I blame her ex)
bro J ~ Ravens (he's been drinking and on drugs for +30 yrs, nuff said)
bro B ~ Raiders
bro S ~ Broncos

so, as you can tell, game days have always been entertaining, and the shit I've taken is nothing to the crow that they've eaten... except mom (dangit)

Patton staggered home very late after another evening with his drinking buddy, Paddy. He took off his shoes to avoid waking his wife, Kathleen.

He tiptoed as quietly as he could toward the stairs leading to their upstairs bedroom, but misjudged the bottom step. As he caught himself by grabbing the banister, his body swung around and he landed heavily on his rump. A whiskey bottle in each back pocket broke and made the landing especially painful.

Managing not to yell, Patton sprung up, pulled down his pants, and looked in the hall mirror to see that his butt cheeks were cut and bleeding. He managed to quietly find a full box of Band-Aids and began putting a Band-Aid as best he could on each place he saw blood.

He then hid the now almost empty Band-Aid box and shuffled and stumbled his way to bed..

In the morning, Patton woke up with searing pain in both his head and butt and Kathleen staring at him from across the room.

She said, 'You were drunk again last night weren't you?'

Patton said, 'Why you say such a mean thing?'

'Well,' Kathleen said, 'it could be the open front door, it could be the broken glass at the bottom of the stairs, it could be the drops of blood trailing through the house, it could be your bloodshot eyes, but mostly ....... it's all those Band-Aids stuck on the hall mirror.

Mary Kate goes to her doctor, complaining that her husband Patrick seems to have lost his sex drive.

The doctor gives her some little blue pills, and tells her to put one in a drink for him, without telling him about it. The idea being to jumpstart his libido, while letting him think it was all his own doing.

She comes back to the doc a week later...glowing.

"Doctor," she says, it was wonderful. "We was having tea, and me husband went out to get the newspaper, so I put the pill in his tea. Well, he comes back, and he drinks the tea, and pretty soon, he has that old look in his eye. And he takes me hand in his...and he kisses me...and then we made beauuuuuuutiful love...on the table!"

"ON THE TABLE?" the doctor asks, appalled.

"Aye, sure'n we did...it was a wee bit embarrassing, but we won't be goin' back to that restaurant anyway."
