the funny thing with kid rock is that he just gets better with age

ie. some of his early stuff was a bit sophomoric and boring....but now he's downright entertaining and broadening his fan base more every day

I don't like rap, hip hop, never liked disco, etc... I was not a fan of Kid Rock until he recorded with Sheryl Crow... they played it on country radio, I've been a fan of both of theirs since...

Afternoon, Blue.

My only problem with Kid Rock is his outright theft of a great tune (Werewolves of London), to create that self-congratulatory hit All Summer Long.

Yep ~ I saw an interview where he said the same...

that song makes me think of the Sugarloaf Bridge (in the Keys) age 16-17, and things that I hope my mother never finds out about :L

When I was 16-17, my mother was no longer among the living.

I can only HOPE that our departed loved ones can't see everything we do, or I'll be in for one helluva lecture when I cash in my chips. :L

I'm sorry you lost your mom so young

the good thing is that our craziness (my stupidity) of youth has made me a more responsible adult... not that I don't get crazy-stupid now, but as an adult I do the responsible thing... I blame Patron :high5:

Thanx, Rie. Mom had cervical cancer, and our old fossil of a family doc didn't catch it in time. She suffered a lot, and hung in as long as she could, to try and see her sons grow up. But it was God's mercy when she finally passed. Good Lord...she was younger than I am now.

But my Dad made it to 88, and we had lots of good times together.
