Morning all.
Well it was a "W"
But I'm not impressed.
Impressed that Ben came back, but not so sure that was a wise idea?

i dunno about "not impressed" the D held 'em to 3 points total...so they did their job beyond acceptability

and considering that we spent half of the game with half of a QB and a tackle playing center direct snapping to ben (who still has a broken thumb) without losing a single snap...i would say that while the score wasn't as impressive as the cinci game the meat of the game was something to behold

Cali -

Maybe, maybe not [how's that for an opinion?]

The one thing you do have going for you is a 10 day mini-bye.
Hopefully a little extra rest will help.
The other thing is - that is a kind of "inspire your team" move that, while hard to quantify, may make you stronger.

Yeah wyo, I agree with those points.
However it was the Browns were talking about.
The offense didn't look very sharp to me.
I hope they get a plan together for the 9ers, cause they have a damn good "D"

Hey tk.

In the end it really was Tomlin's decision.

The player almost always thinks he can still play, so Ben wanting to go back is kind of a given.

Whether or not it was a good idea remains to be seen, I guess.
Tomlin bears the responsibility for it.

the doctors cleared ben and tomlin left it up to ben .. according to the press conferance.. also toughness counts .. I am so tired of the the new pussey rules that godell has put into play .. these players get paid millions to take risks and chances .. a hell of alot more than one of our countries young GI's gets in combat pay .. so I dont feel empathy for these millionairs

So what else can you do?

Hey, it sounded like the much maligned [by some here] o-line kept him upright the rest of the game. Gotta like that.

I hate the "red-shirt" mentality.
In the end it is football, & yes they get paid too much.

[Kinda makes you wonder why we take it all so personally.]
