Net having worked in the Gov't for over 30 yrs you have procedures to ensure fairness. Had a young lady, visibly shook and very upset tell me she was raped and asked I not say anything. I followed procedure and reported it to the proper person who took her side and tried to let it die. That Captain is no longer in the AF for not following procedure and a rapist may still be in our ranks. JoePa did the right thing and got burned because the procedure failed him. WTF, fairness is fairness. BTW I feel extremely bad for the victims as I do that young lady from years ago.

Penn state, however, is not the American military. as a service member, your authority is your direct supervisor....as a civilian, joepa's authority is the police not the AD


furthermore, both joepa and mcqueary have seen sandusky on and around campus completely free and in full knowledge that he is still involved with his charity yet did nothing to follow up while kids were still being harmed....criminal? no........immoral? perhaps

He left it with the chain, they dropped the ball, covered up, however one wants to flavor it. If JoePa had direct knowledge, then he needs worse than firing. But a report on an accusation doesn't carry much weight unless you are a politician. Damn I was molested by the Greek (Chief of Police) when I was a kid, luckily got over it. I hate it for the kids. It's sad that folks start a charity for all the wrong reasons.
