how bad is it ? i mean does he need a trans plant or will it get better in time if he lays off the booze and meds ..

my sister has major liver issues, she said her research led to the fact that the life expectancy of transplant patients is 10 year average. that means at the OUTSIDE you live twenty years after, or you could die tomorrow.

a transplant is the LAST resort in this case.

Net having worked in the Gov't for over 30 yrs you have procedures to ensure fairness. Had a young lady, visibly shook and very upset tell me she was raped and asked I not say anything. I followed procedure and reported it to the proper person who took her side and tried to let it die. That Captain is no longer in the AF for not following procedure and a rapist may still be in our ranks. JoePa did the right thing and got burned because the procedure failed him. WTF, fairness is fairness. BTW I feel extremely bad for the victims as I do that young lady from years ago.
