I got somewhat lucky all I got was about 3/4 inch of ice and no snow

Quite nice.
Back at the dealers now for some add on's my wife wanted.
Had it out this weekend, and drove out to Pinnacles National Monument, about 25 miles from here.
Wife let the car drive it's self almost all the way home.
It has what they call lane keep assist, and it will keep you in your lane by steering the car for you.
Also has adaptive cruise that slows you down if the car in front off you slows, and speeds you up when they go faster.
Pretty cool, and obviously hands and feet were at the ready, but it did an amazing job.

I hear ya there.
It can, but if you let go of the steering wheel for more than ten seconds it will beep and say driver input required....

Talked to my sister in PA today and she said the news said they might get "feets" of snow......

so it's not really hands free

As long as your hand is lightly touching, it's ok.
Just a back up system I suppose. Kinda strange to have the steering wheel pull in your hand.
It can be shut off also.
Also has four wheel steering.

no we arent .. but its going to drag in cold air in from canada so back to the deep freeze

We have an Alaskan trough coming down through here.
Only got to 65 today....

4 wheel steering now that would be alright but I would imagine it's more parts to wear out
