I don't see how it could help us at all, unless we could buy Pronger out now and have the cap hit gone before the cap drops. This only really helps us when signing FA's though & we can't even do that because he's eligible for ltir.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Flyers potentially scooping up some bought out scraps on 1 year deals.

the only potential guys I see being bought our are Gomez, Redden & Stajan(from listening to Dash). I mean I'm up for a cheap 1 yr prorated deal for Redden but I don;t think we're gonna find anything too great on that market.

Stajan isnt getting bought out and he is a 6th liner on this team
