Bryz gets a shutout stops 19 shots. The wild must've figured out to win they need to keep opposing teams to under 20 shots
They know they can't play run and gun against the Blackhawks so they have to tighten it up
Minny had better do something with Bryz in net you almost have to plan on scoring 4 or more goals if you want to win.
What do you guys think will happen with Kimmo Timonen? UFA next season, currently makes $6 million per. I wonder if they will let him go or will he re-sign for significantly less. No way they re-sign him to $6 million, no way anyone else signs him for $6 million, but he's still a great player.
i'm hoping they can get him for like 4. on a 1 year deal. that's my hope.
sounds like he either plays in philly or retires though. his latest interviews all said it's about the cup and staying in philly, not about money, so we'll see what happens.
Does anyone think that Hextall's comment about preferring young players and draft picks could have any effect on whether or not Timonen returns?
I dunno, he could still bring Kimmo back for one more year, in a perfect world I'd like to see Kimmo take a lot less money if it's really not about the money, because then they can improve their team in other areas if he takes a lot less money

Made the same statement in another thread around here somewhere...

So I haven't watched any hockey since game 7. Are the Rangers just dog tired in this series or what? I'm pretty shocked to see Pitt taking their lunch money so far...
