Abredderis better hope he can run really fast.........

Because he isn't going to make it in the NFL on his upper body strength. He only put up 225 four times. That is pathetic.

On a side note -- a guy who I've watched his highlight film like a dozen times already, as I can't believe how fast he looks on the field -- Dri Archer -- He was very impressive putting up 225 20 times while only weighing 175 lbs.

If you get a chance -- type in Dri Archer highlights on YouTube. He is undersized, but it looks like the video is in fast forward when you watch him run.

Honorable Mention.) Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
-We certainly don't need a DT with the #10 pick, but Hageman goes 6'6" and 320 lbs and is projected to run a 4.9 40 at the combine. My thought is if he's that athletic at that size he'd be a great LDE in the mold of Red Bryant with Seattle. With that size/speed combo it stands to reason he could one gap it like our current guys do, or two gap it to free up the LB behind him to attack. Not a name we're hearing about much yet, but I think he'll climb into a top-15 spot when all is said an done...

We will be looking for a DT if Mayhew doesn't pick up Fairley's 5th year "Team option" by May 2nd 2014...

I really like the potential Hageman has. He could be one of those risers after the combine should he do as well as he is expected

You want the Lions to draft Bridgewater or Manziel Rolling?

I thought we were talking about top ten overall, guess I didn't fully read Tpaul's initial post. I do really like Bridgewater though. Guy reminds me of Aaron Rodgers how he slides around the pocket and has pin point accuracy. His arm isn't as strong as Stafford, but he is already way way more accurate.

That is amazing, When I was lifting regularly in my late 20's and weighed 190 I could only lift that like 4-5 time max. 20 is ridiculous.

Be nice bro, half the guys on here couldn't lift 225 off the rack, let alone press it. If he can go out and get a DUI tonight, then tear his ACL tomorrow he's our 2nd rd pick

I think Captain Morgan would whoop Sailor Jerry's ass in a fair fight.

I also think anyone who hit Pat Benator with their best shot had better knock her the hell out. Seriuosly, she's a chick and it was your best shot.

That's why I said may. I don't know what kind of season Warmack had, but I didn't hear much about him during the season. That tells me it must not have been stellar. But I don't really know.

I don't know about a kid that doesn't understand why it might be a bad idea to bring his pet turkey to Thanksgiving.

How set are you in your choice for the Lions 1st pick?

I am often seeing debates and votes on whether the Lions should take a CB or a WR in the first round. A few even say Safety in the first round. Personally I am all for a CB in the first round, but I started thinking about it recently and I realized something. If the Lions draft a WR, though it is not what I believe is the best scenario, it would still improve this team for the future, so I would not be upset. The Lions can draft a WR, CB, Safety or Linebacker, and I would not be upset with any of them. That got me to wondering what everyone else feels?

I just think it's crazy that there was 3 guards and a center taken in the 1st round, and Warford was a lot better than all of them...

I am torn so I don't think it will matter too much to me.

We need LB the most but I don't see a prototypical 4-3 LB at number 10. Most of the top LBs are 3-4 OLBs. I would say WR next and my guess is that is what will happen, but CB would help as well if we get a guy that can be a shutdown player. Problem is that takes a couple of years at least to become that so the impact is not going to be felt this year. Still, Houston may not last past this year even with his dead money contract. If he blows chunks this year then eat the 2 mil next year and move on. 4 mil this year would be too much so he will be with us 1 more year at least.

I think safety is too easy to fill so I will say no to that at #10. Too many big experienced CBs have become good safeties later in their careers. It is not a difficult position to fill IMO.

Don't forget to trade up for him too. We don't tolerate having any 5th round picks on this team.
