Kellen Moore to Titus Young should be a lock for a Super Bowl for the Motor City. Oh wait, that ain't gonna work. Sorry and thank you guys. The sorry is obvious. The thank you for giving a good guy a 2 year education that far exceeds the minimum NFL salary when he comes home as an OC. May not matter to many, but let me tell you there are a ton of knuckleheads like me in Boise tnat never gave the Lions a second thought, that are huge fans now.

What's the white WR's name from SVSU? He's like 6'3" and projected to run in the 4.3s at the combine. Being a D-II guy should knock him down to the 3rd or 4th round, he might be another option if we go defense early.

I don't think there's a lot of white guys who have the athleticism and explosion to be elite #1 WRs, but a Jordy Nelson is the ideal #2, imo. Deep speed, precise routes, soft hands, good size. Looks like we've unearthed a few candidates here to be the next Jordy...

Surprised you never noticed him at Wisky.

I've watched Wisconsin play, but never really paid too much attention to their WRs. I'm usually impressed with their RBs

They couldn't cover Abbrederis in the Ohio State game. Everyone knew where the ball was going when they dropped back to pass and it didn't matter. The fact he did this against a guy who is considered a low 1st/high 2nd round pick is even more impressive.

Adam Archuleta was pretty good for a white boy. On Durham, fugger caught 44% of balls thrown his direction, that's the worst % I've ever heard of. Its even bad for a white boy.

He's Durham part duece! There is some truth to Old Lion's statement.

Why would Abbrederis be Kris Durham part deuce? Outside of both guys being white -- the comparison between the two stop right there, other than comparable speed.

Everything I have read says Abbrederis is a great route runner (Detroit needs this) and has sure hands (Detroit NEEDS this). If he can put up almost 1100 yards on a run first team like Wisconsin -- He must be pretty good. If he runs the 40 in what he predicts he will (in the 4.4s) -- I think he'd be a great addition to the team.

I don't draft white WR&CBs or black QBs. Too risky

Russell Wilson says you are wrong. As does Eric Decker, Jordy Nelson and Wes Welker, just to name a few.

I'm not saying Detroit should take the guy with the 10th overall pick. I'm just saying, after reading up on the guy and watching him go against a potential 1st round pick CB and absolutely torch him -- He looks like a great value if the Lions got him in the 3rd round.

It isn't as if Wisconsin is running a spread offense and winging it all over the field. They play an NFL pro style offense and Abbrederis excelled in it for them.

wisky hasn't had any really good qb.'s outside of R. Wilson in 2012 and that was abbrederis' worst season from a stats perspective.

abbrederis.... 6' 7/8"----189 lbs...9 5/8" hands
2013 13 games--- 83 rec.---1081 yds.---7 tds.
2012 13 games----49 rec.----837 yds.---5 tds.
2011 14 games----55 rec.----933 yds.---8 tds.

I was just kidding with the Durham thing. I said it before I even checked the guy out. I'm all for taking him if he fits the bill.

I just woke up from a nightmare about when Bill Schroeder was a Lions WR. Thankfully we had Az-Zahir Hakim and Desmond Howard to team with him to make up an awesome WR corp.

Mike Furrey slept in his truck. Millen still has Mayhew by a good margin in the receivers department.

He was hurt a lot here.
Seems like that's how it goes with our secondary every year. It's why we're always signing guys left and right. Oh, that, and they blow. ;)

Like Delmas. He's hurt for two years, then he gets paid to play. Then he's not hurt. Maybe we give Broyles an extension with games played incentives?

Can u believe he caught almost a hundred balls for us once?

Led the NFC in receptions that season. Not too shabby for a white boy who played safety for the Rams the season before that.
