A.J. Jenkins appeared on a number of lists as a player who would get drafted higher than most had him going. I'd have rather swung for the fences on Hill or maybe Jarius Wright IF I was FORCED to choose a WR there, but Jenkins was right there in the running among the WRs.

A.J. Jenkins was one of my favorite WRs this year and there were not many WRs this year I liked. If you would have forced me to pick a WR in that spot for the 49ers he would have been near the top of the list but with Konz and Upshaw on the board? Yikes.

Silotua still there...really depends on what happens tomorrow...good pick, not expected but, he's very solid and (potentially) offers a lot more down the road than a guy like Floyd or Wright...

You Take Upshaw or Konz and trade up in the second for AJ if you really want him... In Baalke we trust but I am shaking my head a bit.

How do you know this? Can we not trade up for Upshaw or Konz (or Glenn for that matter)?

Was no other team interested in Jenkins?

Necessary to trade up there? Idk if I would have made that move if I were the Bucs but yeah, its their move.

Baalke just lost all the credibility he gained with me last year. This was a horrendous pick considering he'd have still been there in the 2nd round and possibly the 3rd. Inexplicable!

You may eat this quote. May not be this year but in the future. I was thinking trade back but this pick is what the NINERS group wanted.

I'll be interested to see what TB offered to move up here. Again, not going to criticize the pick at this point, but I've got to think we could have landed him in the mid-second. And with some of the guys that are falling, having some trade ammo would have been nice.

I had the same feeling when we took Aldon...seeing how that turned out (along with the plethora of other little moves we made) I have faith...

It's tough to find a bigger critic of Doug Martin than myself. Happy he went where he did. But if it frees up Blount at some point...great. :)

Aj Jenkins would have been gone by the Niners pick in the second round. But the Niners could have traded up in the second to grab him, And he will be better than Hill. I Like Jenkins just was falling in love with Upshaw still being available.

Dang, I really like how the team is loading up on WRs. The passing game needs as much help as it can get, the young QBs need help if one of them wins the job and Smith needs help if he keeps it.

Jenkins is much slower than Ginn.

Yeah, but he's more quicker and more explosive out of his breaks. He also has much better hands, ball skills, and is bigger and tougher going through the middle.

See clyde. Posts like this are what I'm referring to. Complete ignorance.

We passed on Fleener so that means the Cohns and a lot of 49ers fans are in the process of jumping off bridges as we speak.

I'm hoping Ginn doesn't make the roster at this point. He's a very good return man, but he's not truly special IMO. And I still like Kyle Williams as a receiver - hell, even as a returner if he can get his head out of his ass in terms of dumb decisions. Ginn is just way too one-dimensional for a team this deep.

I like this pick, Jenkins was on my big board that we did earlier. I would have perfered Fleener, Konz, or Upshaw, but I still like this pick. Quickness like his is sometimes better than pure speed. Mainly in getting free and running routes.

:L All these people complaining are the same ones complaining about Aldon. Sorry guys but I trust HarBaalke more than I trust you and your mock drafts that fail miserably every year.
