Prior to last week’s kickoff, a banner held across a few rows of the student section (nicknamed The Boneyard) read “Welcome U”, a respectful gesture towards the few thousand Miami fans who made the trip and surely felt warm and honoured by their hosts’ hospitality. Floridian fans had just enough time to soak that feeling in, and perhaps ponder for a moment what a lovely offering it was, before three more signs unfurled.

“... to your worst nightmare” — with a giant skull-and-crossbones flag dotting that point of exclamation.

It was more than 8,000 students saying: Please do enjoy your stay, but if you don’t mind, we’re gonna kick your ass here for a few hours first.

Love this part.

I'm not shitting you. When I saw pictures and replays after the game I thought, "well those don't look as bad as they did from 50 rows up."

People thought Abdullah was running the ball on every single play because we couldn't read numbers. I cringed every time people were like "YEAAA AMEERR!" and it was actually Imani. I could tell from the style of running alone who it actually was.....but yea, couldn't even read the numbers.

The shoes were orange too. WTF was that about?

You missed the real fireworks if you are only finding out about it now.

On Monday, I gave them all exactly what they were pining for. The reactions were EXACTLY what I was hoping for when I did that. I too, am pretty good at "psychology experiments."

The thread was moved to the Toilet Bowl where it should have gone to on Sunday.
