Yeah, it was longer than I meant, but I am hoping this subject has some legs...remember, it's for the championship!!
So, here's some examples.
This is my favorite Stapleton song.
I'm sure you have heard JJ Cale songs, but just didn't know he was the writwer. Clapton had big hits with "Cocaine", and "After Midnight", And this one here was covered by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Warren Zevon was the guy who did "Werewolves of London", "Lawyers, Guns and Money", and "Excitable Boy". Linda Ronstadt also covered some of his work, like this one.

On the subject of Queen, I just learned recently that Brian May holds a doctorate in astrophysics. Actually does work with NASA. What a true Renaissance man! You may call him Doctor!

it was decided quite some time ago that the banner needs replaced. it sounded as if most wanted to go a more classic look, rather than new people. that would have the benefit of making it timeless and not needing replaced when a coach or player moves on.

i attempted it, but just haven't had time with baseball and other things. My in-laws might be taking the kids this weekend, maybe i'll see about putting a little effort into it again.

Not that it matters in August. But most people have picked Nebraska as favorites or co-favorites to win the West this year. Yet the coaches have Wisconsin, Iowa and Northwestern all ranked ahead of Nebraska.

As they say, "that's why they play the game" Titles aren't won on paper in August.
