Walleye have been great for most of the year. But, alas, the wife has been transferred once again so we have to give up our lakeside home. We are not amused. Heading back to Omaha. This is it. No more. Any more transfers and she will look for another job.
Sold the pontoon Saturday, didn't have time to finish the work.

Sorry to hear about the pontoon, I think that’s going to be my next purchase. I go out with a good friend on his pontoon and I can’t believe the difference between his pontoon and my boat, there’s some days out on my boat I feel like I’ve been wrestling steers all day, we come in off the pontoon after being out on the water all day and I feel relaxed instead of feeling like I’ve had the shit beat of me.
This year the walleye fishing has been phanomal, I don’t know if it’s because the water level is up from previous years or because we’ve kinda changed up techniques. Whichever it is, it was a very good year.

I stay away from the boat traffic, scares the fish away. To many people chase the gulls for my comfort, it gets to crowded & crazy bastards will just cut you off.
Caught a lot of walleye up by Methodist this year, couple master anglers. Hunters is a nice camp ground area.
