the city of Omaha amazes me on the vast acres it takes up
I then come back to Kearney to live my weekends and find it somewhat relaxing
not to say bad to Omaha but I like the small town life more gooder
although the food places in Omaha are great
I spent 35 dollars at the outback steak house the other nite --good vittles but expensive

The old stockyards were down there and that's where the Czechs and Polish worked and raised their families in the old days.
The Mexicans are raising their families there now by working in the meat packing plants.

When I bought this acreage it was out in the middle of cornfields. Now it's city surrounded by neighborhoods and stores.

yep the area seems alright and all
we eat at a place called Home Cafe a lot
its been thar for ages its seems --a lot of pictures on the wall from the 40's and 50's
