Blow it up completely. From head to toe Including that retard Reddick. . Luka refuses to get in shape or play a lick of D , and Lebron is done with. Next year he won't be better, he will just be 41.. The experiment is over. I know people love Luka because hes amazing at offense, but that means nothing when you play no defense as every post season ultimately shows. . Basketball is done on both ends of the court. Adding a couple of stupid pieces won't change having a 41 year old and and a fat out of shape player that refuses to play D. The best step forward is to go to backwards in this regard. In the future Lakers can get some nice draft picks get the stupid overpaid 50M/year salary for fat people and elderly people off the books and get guys like SGA/Wemby combos I'm sure

I don't doubt the talent. I just question if he'll have the ball in his hands enough to routinely get enough shot attempts since he's also a great passer.
I think he will. He did towards the end. Besides, I think the roster is going to be shake up. I think AR goes

They continue to insist otherwise, but he's their biggest trade chip. If they know Lebron is done after this coming year, they may hold onto AR.

I can see another underwhelming FA summer coming for the Lakers. A lot of the playoff failings can be placed on a still recovering Luka, a rookie head coach, and a trade that left the roster unbalanced. If Lebron opts in and Luka extends early in the offseason, they may largely stand pat and work on the margins. A signing with the TPMLE, some vet mins to get to at least 14 roster spots, a few new 2-way players and maybe using the 2nd rounder.

Luka signs a short extension to get to 10 years of service and that bigger payday down the road.
AR turns down his extension to make more as a free agent.
Goodwin gets picked up.
Milton gets waived (if a trade doesn't materialize).
Morris and Len gone.
Lakers may want to see Kleber's fit now that he's healthy.
They continue to hedge on trading Rui and AR.
Gabe was a much better piece last year.
Knecht is one of their better chips, but they need that shooting bump off the bench.

Trades may come a few months into the season rather than this summer.

I am the sure the Lakers don't need another aging vet. They should find a decent Center in this year's draft and/or buy another second rounder to find a Center and to keep Hachimura!

I think the Lakers will match any offer AR gets and keep him for another year or two. If he can be part of a package to pry Kessler away from Utah then he would go.

He's not a free agent until next summer, when he can opt out.

Not sure how helpful centers in the mid-late 2nd are going to help, but they will be looking.

Unless the Lakers can pry Kessler away from Utah or maybe the Pacers Center, they should concentrate on finding a Center for this coming year. Hayes may be moving on and he wasn't the answer anyways. Kokomo and Kleber might be an effective duo until somebody better becomes available!!
