Kingman is a crappy version of modern players to me. I don't think much of his game. But I haven't looked at his numbers in years.

Yeah, heard of Resier's name but that's all. I didn't know Jensen. But looking at them now that is a good one.

I don't know. I'm looking at their stats and I don't see much of a difference. Kingman was clearly a better homerun hitter but looking at their careers as a whole they look very similar

I mean it's not a landslide, but hell Kingman played first base and he still had a better WAR in nearly 2000 less PA's. He also had a better OPS and wRC+, a better wOBA and a better WAA. I don't see any way you spin it where you can say Carter is better, especially by a "landslide" as OBX said (not putting him down, I think a lot of people value Carter over Kingman)
