Somehow this game creates officiating controversy/headlines? When there was far more worse calls earlier this season let alone the Rams/Saints no PI call? Or letting Sauce "THE GRAB" Gardner get away with it all this season?

Oh NFL... lol.... a running into the kicker penalty now changes everything and draws scrutiny? lol....

Clearly those pesky Seahawks are just always cheating...

Funny how that call is so awful and the several horrible calls earlier in the game are completely ignored. Fwiw, yeah, it was a bad call but people keep saying it was "roughing" which it was never called as. It was "running into" which is more subjective and the kicker sold it which happens all the time. Now, with this huge controversy (which really isn't), some kicker will get blatantly taken out and there will be "no-calls" to over correct it. Meanwhile an Olineman will have perfectly legal pancake blocks and get called for holding because the defender ends up on his ass or face mask penalties will continue to be missed by blind ass officials because the league refuses to penalize shitty officiating. The league needs to look at the entirety of bad officiating and not just one or two calls. Not defending the Seahawks here either. Several teams have been given calls that are as bad or worse. Ask Lions fans over the years about all the calls Rodgers has been given.

Oh it's pathetic at this point Dr. The NFL just calls out the refs when money suits them... the number of blown calls in that game was ridiculous, let alone the Jets the week prior with Sauce "THE GRAB" Gardner. Can we just change his name to Grab Gardner? The refs certainly wont mind.

:laugh3:
He's lucky he wasnt drafted by the Cowboys. Cowboy DBs get the flag if their jersey touches the receiver.

Mind as well have clowns pass out cotton candy up and down the isle then put a trampoline on the 50 yard line and call it a day.

I mean, admittedly they were terrible calls.

But there have been abysmal calls all year. The fact they've been using this game as a benchmark to review officiating is just laughable.

THe roughing the passer on Grady Jarrett and the one on Chris Jones immediately following the non call on Tua were among the creme de la creme of horrible calls this year. This will end up the same. A total over correction that will turn into a farce. Meanwhile the Jerome Boger's of the world are still in the league calling games.

Actually "running into the kicker" is much less subjective... can only be called in 2 instances and neither occurred on this play. Both of punters feet were already on the ground and Rams player never contacted the kicking foot.

Correct call would have been "roughing the kicker", it can be called with both feet on the ground when deemed severe. This is the much more subjective call.

The fix was in for LA to lose last week.

Won’t matter in about four hours though. This isn’t going to be close.
Why would the league want Seattle in the playoffs ? We’re in South Alaska… A Seattle loss last week made the Detroit GB game have even more drama, since a win would have put the Lions in …

Don’t know they why, but make believe penalties against the Rams and overlooking obvious ones from Seattle was not on the up and up.

Could be to give SF the equivalent of a first round bye.

That’s true for any of the Lions, Packers or Seahawks

I'm glad I didn't post this. While I agree with you the Seahawks currently have a 1 point lead.

Does the NFC have any QB to compete against the AFC QBs? Herbert is least of the pack… and he’s damn good.
