Euros are right around the corner, this is England's best chance to end a long international drought.

/I've seen this movie before, they're going to lose on penalties.

I have to say that it's cool to see Scotland back in the Euros, they kick things off versus the host Deutschland on Friday, June 14th

From what I understand Jude Bellingham won the CL Final all by his lonesome so this should be a breeze.

His brother has been linked to a possible move from Sunderland to Southampton. Not sure how I feel about that, but there's no doubt Saints needs some upgrades to survive in the Premier League.

I was talking to a football fan recently who was of the opinion that if the FA punishes Man City so hard they are relegated, it will push them towards the Super League

But if they reverse their ruling, it will open themselves up to lawsuits from every other club that has been punished

I’m not well versed in this stuff but if his assessment is accurate, it sounds like the FA put themselves in quite the pickle

It also feels like restructuring of European football might become inevitable at some point

It's funny that you mention possible relegation of Man City because as much as I was disappointed that Southampton was relegated at the end of the 2022-23 season, I really enjoyed this past season watching them in the Championship. Of course, they along with Leicester and Leeds had a big advantage with the parachute payments from the Premier League, but there just is a much more competitive balance in the Championship. As I said above, Saints will have to add 4 or 5 really good players to have any chance of avoiding relegation back down to the Championship.

Yeah, my biggest issue with following any of the European domestic leagues is the lack of parity. You know which few teams are actually playing for the title year in and year out

It’s also why American college football still needs to continue their restructure. Vanderbilt vs Georgia is not competitive and no one is watching it but two flawed but fun G5 teams can be a great game

This is starting to get pretty ugly between Man City and the Premier League, if the other 19 Premier League teams show solidarity, perhaps Man City backs down.

Canada about to take on the Dutch in Rotterdam in an international friendly. Good luck Jesse, this will be quite the challenge.

Nil-nil at halftime - Didn't see all of the action, but Canada was on the front foot and not just sitting back.

Now 4-nil and it doesn't get any easier for Canada as they face France on June 9th in Bordeaux.
