Yeah, I think they will set a new club record if they tie or beat Huddersfield on Saturday. Obviously, the Championship is quite a step down from the Premier League and the parachute payments definitely give a huge advantage to the recently relegated teams, but Russell Martin's system also looks to be working very well for Saints.

Bonkers game at St. Mary's today - Huddersfield had a 2-nil lead at halftime, Saints tie it up 2-2 early in the 2nd half courtesy of a Joe Rothwell brace in 60 seconds of play, Huddersfield take a 3-2 lead, an own goal ties the game with about 10 minutes left in the 90, and now Saints have a 5-3 lead in stoppage time.

It's pretty remarkable that he's had that vertical in his repertoire since his United days (the good time) and his knees never just gave the fuck out. Combined with all the other abuse they take from his running, dribbling etc. Considering how broken so many players before him were by the time they hit 30 (he's 34 in this video lol).

Saints streak is over as they just lost 3-1 on the road to Bristol City. Probably not the worst thing to happen, I think the streak was starting to get in the player's heads and it had to come to an end at some point.

Due to Saints being in the Championship this season, I've seen Jaden Philogene on quite a few highlights and he won't be in the Championship for long (as in some Premier League time is going to come calling and Hull will gladly accept the money).

Saints were a dreadful Premier League team last season, but Sheffield United looks even worse this season in the top flight. I mean, Brighton is a very good team, but you shouldn't be losing 5-nil at home.
