Nice win for Porto. Now all they need is a Norwegian ref in North London for the next one.

Saints crumbling at home with losses to Hull earlier this week and now Millwall today. An automatic promotion looking less and less likely with each passing game.

Oh well, at least I can take solace in ManU losing a match at home at the death to Fulham :D

Saints weren't terrible at Anfield yesterday, the Liverpool kids are pretty darn good.

Southampton were the better team for the first half half. Tired after the break or Liverpool got their act together. I was surprised they didn't go for it with their best XI.

Another bonkers game at Birmingham today - Birmingham takes a 1-nil lead early, Saints tie it midway through the first half, Birmingham scores late in the 1st half to take a 2-1 lead at the break, Saints score two goals early in the 2nd half to take a 3-2 lead and then a Birmingham player is sent off with a red card.

If you're thinking Saints can just steer this game home with Birmingham down to 10 men, well you just don't know Southampton as Birmingham scores to tie it 3-3 and it's looking like a disappointing shared points result for the south coast squad. However, much maligned Joe Aribo scores at the death and sends the home fans into delirium as Saints win 4-3.
