USA - Canada at the London Olympics in 2012 - That Norwegian ref should have just worn a USA jersey.

The USA-Germany and Italy-South Korea games in particular stand out to me as being terribly officiated.

As BBB pointed out (and what the Corriere dello sport is saying), the games South Korea played against Portugal Italy and Spain were all questionable

when I heard yesterday they had this story i was hoping the paper would have some hard facts but they dont really :noidea:

I don't know if there's ever been as much anger at a team as there was toward South Korea after the Moreno shitshow. Remember the Bologna (I think) president selling the Korean player out of pure spite?

ah yes yes Byron Moreno ... former FIFA ref and current convicted heroin smuggler lol

It was Perugia that sent the guy who scored the winning goal v Italy packing

My brother once asked YP Lee at Whitecaps training about the 2002 world cup and he smirked about it and went all "not speak good english" lol ... he also asked him about why he chose not to accept a transfer to Roma in 2006 ... again ... "not speak good english" with a smirk lol

That tournament was the biggest joke I've ever seen. I'll never forget watching that Italy game and wondering what in the hell it was I was seeing.

going back to my previous comment ... the shopkeepers in Venice were PISSED about what was going on in that game ... and it was spain getting screwed not Italy lol

I don't think Spain ever had as many people cheering for them as they did in that game, even during their 2008-2012 run.
