My friend and I were considering watching a game, but going to Winnipeg makes it pretty impossible for us. Blech. Only hope now is that they win their group and get to the quarters in Ottawa. Or semis in Montreal. Much more feasible.

Toronto is hosting the 2015 Pan-American games and Pan-Am games officials didn't want to have to go head-to-head against the Women's World Cup.

The Pan Am Games can suck a fart. I was actually looking forward to seeing a WWC game. Loved the u-20s here in 2007.

But it was a smart decision. This city is going to be fucking miserable to get around for those few weeks. Personally, I'll be booking a couple weeks off and travelling Europe to avoid the chaos.

Tough part of the schedule, although it would've been nice to have seen them take a point or two. Burnley, Everton and Crystal Palace up next should help recoup some points before Chelsea, Arsenal and United come around.
