:clap2: for Ronaldo - Merry Christmas CR7

LONDON (AP) — Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his anguish over the plight of children in war-shattered Syria and made a donation to help fund emergency supplies in Aleppo.

Save the Children says the Real Madrid star’s “generous donation” will fund food, clothing and medical care for families in Aleppo and across Syria.

In a video message, Ronaldo says “this is for the children of Syria. We know that you have been suffering a lot. I am a very famous player, but you are the true heroes. Don’t lose your hope. The world is with you. We care about you. I am with you.”

Cristiano Ronaldo calls the kids of Syria the 'true heroes'

If anyone wants to see someone's personal life and career unravelling at the same time, search Samir Nasri in Google news.

How do you top getting a red card by fighting your teammate?

How about when you return to action and three minutes after being introduced getting a red card for kicking out at an opponent.

Oh Jermaine...you silly, silly boy.

It was only a matter of time.

Why did they wait until he signed a new deal with Real before making an offer? They coulda got in touch with Mendes and told him that if he waits out his deal there's beaucoup yuan waiting for him.

He rebuffed because that 150 million euros per season wasn't actual money but instead the equivalent in Vancouver real estate

It's not just limited to players and managers, either. Here's Prem zebra Mark Clattenburg:

“There is no offer on the table but if they made an offer it would be under consideration. But at the moment I still enjoy working for the Premier League and Uefa.”

If he were a player the article headline would be "Clattenburg in China COME AND GET ME Plea!"

Mark Clattenburg says he would consider move to Chinese Super League

I thought I had heard Clattenburg was being considered for head referee in the MLS so it makes sense that the Chinese would swoop in with massive dollars that would dwarf the mls offer ... yet again lol

Starting to think Pep isn't much of a manager when he isn't presented with a team already filled with champions and/or the best player in the world. That press conference after yesterday's game was just weird.
