They are all trying to sell you more than you need. Get a good one. Check the installation - especially the sealing of the ducts. Neatness means more than you think.

When I'm ready the ducts won't matter. It's a forced hot water system.

You have to make the decision on what you think will be most efficient and cost effective for you and not listen to sales chatter.

That won't be an issue. I over research everything. My solar guy loved me because I was an informed consumer. The guy who tried to sell me before that gave up on me because I asked too many questions and would validate his answers. He probably thought I never would buy.

I do the same thing research research research. Part of my remodel was replacing old AC and all duct work. I wanted a Carrier unit but did not like the price. Through research I learned Bryant is just a rebranded Carrier for less money. Asked the AC guys at work one said absolutely true he actually would remove the carrier labeling and replace with Bryant on ocassion. Saved a couple hundred bicks.
