One of my favorite movies scenes
They were the rare "club band" that could expand their act to bigger venues.I saw J Geils a few times great show.
Was that an intentional pun? When we were in port in San Francisco or Alameda, the USO always had tickets for every concert.
Saw the Stones, Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, Grateful Dead, Paul Simon,Talking Heads, Tower of Power.
Somebody was always playing at the Filmore West.
My favorite memory was poster for a concert at Berkley
JOAN
BAEZ
ELTON JOHN
Elton blew.....
Patience is a virtue and one that I do not possess!Would you rather?
Try to assemble a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle where all the pieces are white or piece together the broken pretzels from a bag of rold gold twists?
A similar situation in the 90's, I went to a concert at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater to see Frampton, REO Speedwagon and Foreigner. When we were in port in San Francisco or Alameda, the USO always had tickets for every concert.

That was exactly how those posters were printed.
Elton blew the place apart and Joanie was boo'd because Elton had to leave the stage. 1970.

I saw REO in the 80s, 90s and aughts They were my favorite band with High Infidelity but the albums disappointed after that. Somehow they lost their hard rock edge.A similar situation in the 90's, I went to a concert at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater to see Frampton, REO Speedwagon and Foreigner.
Foreigner being the headliner.
Frampton put on a FANTASTIC show. REO Speedwagon was one of the best acts that I've ever seen live. Still to this day, almost 30 years later, Roll with the Changes is the best songs I've heard/seen played live. Hands down.
Foreigner came out, played, left, REO came back out and played again.
They were that good.
You never disappoint.....
I'm old school. Partners used to mean partners.
It is what it is. When someone uses the term “Partner”, it’s there butt buddy. But if you are saying your balls never smacked together then I believe you.I'm old school. Partners used to mean partners.
Apparently they are "butt buddies" to you.
This world is getting very sad.....
