Bands like Bad Company and Styx should have been in a while ago. I know the "corporate rock" can be polarizing, but these groups owned the airwaves from the late 70's until the 80's truly kicked in. Even REO, who totally owned 81, and unfortunately after that couldn't get out of their own way.Pretty damn good list

I loved REO in 81 and fortunately could fight that feeling.
Care to elaborate? Keep in mind I was a late blooming 16 yr old.
Oh it was just the use of the lyric, it tickled me. The Hi Infidelity album was a huge album for them, and that is the album you are referencing if my math is correct. I think " You can tune a piano but you can't tune a fish" was better, but the bubble gum always sells.Care to elaborate? Keep in mind I was a late blooming 16 yr old.

So the only band on the list I’m very familiar with is Bad Company. They were called the best garage band of all time. Early 70,s before I went in the Army, one of the hottest sounds at the kegger was “can’t get enough of your love”Pretty damn good list

So true but they went from bubblegum to pure sap after hi infidelity and I always thought that was a shame. If anything, they should have gone back to "You can Tune....".Oh it was just the use of the lyric, it tickled me.
