Of course, I acknowledged that in a previous post from 54-65 MSU kicked our butts. There's only been two relatively small spans in history where that's happened.

Actually, I was talking about a 50 year stretch prior to the last 8 (which does include some of the games in that 10 year stretch in the mid 50's to early 60's.....
I wasn't. When I calculated 50 years prior to the last 8, it included part of that stretch.

MSU claims a bunch of titles from a bunch of random polls. Michigan does not. If we claimed the same kind of titles MSU does, we'd add 5 to our total.
I'm not even counting all the bullshit ones that MSU claimed or else it would be 6 of the last 7 for Michigan State. I'm counting the ones recognized ones.
