He is dearly missed this year on the Dodgers broadcasts, and that is why I have him as my avi, sort of a tribute to his absence.

I'm not sure how many here know Vin announced the NFL for CBS back in the day. He did it for nearly a decade back in the 70's/80's and even though it's was for one of our rivals he called the play by play on one of the most famous plays in the NFL post seasons in what was later dubbed simply as 'The Catch'. That was the 1982 NFC Championship game and The Catch of course put the 49ers not only in the Super Bowl, but on the map.

Of course it was also a few years after the death of the Rams' late great owner Carrol Rosenbloom, which of course 'The Catch' also marked the changing of the guard in the NFC West, and our Rams were never the power to be dealt with year in and year out in the NFC West without Rosenbloom in control.

A couple words of advice... Make sure either your phone has a TON of open memory, or that you have a large sd card in it... I have a 128gb memory card and have filled 15gb so far(at least 10 of that is VR apps)...
Plus, make sure it's the new Xbox controller you have, with the round headphone jack at the bottom next to the usual rectangular one they all have...The older controllers don't have the round headphone jack...

The old controllers won't pair to my phone through Bluetooth, not sure why, but they won't, I have tried...

I just keep finding more and more great apps for GearVR... I think the one I was watching was called (AltspaceVR) But they televised the Spacex launch in their VR "world"... Meaning, you could watch the launch on this big screen while standing there with others and being able to talk with them....

They supposedly do all sorts of special events with big name celebs, guess we will see...
