RG3 had success at the beginning because of that pistol BS and his running ablity. But the defenses figured that out and forced him to throw from the pocket and he struggles throwing from the pocket on a regular basis. And if he runs its only a matter of time before he gets hurt again.

Take him over Davis also, shows how little you know when it comes to QB play!

I actually think I would take Davis. How much I know? You pick QB's that ride the bench for some reason.

I like Davis, don't think he was given a fair shot, yet I don't constantly bring him up like you do with Bradord, who has done what with the numerous shots he has been given?

As far as riding the bench, your boy has riden the bench more than his fair share of time! Doesnt matter how or why, I'd rather take my chances with a lesser QB that I can count on being out there for every game, than constantly having to wonder if your boy can go this week or not!

Well, I knew all the excuses would come out yet again!

Let's see Coug they lost because their defense sucked, yet as others always want to blame our offense for the D being out there so much? same case here as it was last week for Philly, they were in the game, the offense FAILED to do anything, which puts the D back on the field?
Sammy once again had a lot of garbage stats late when the game was already over! Sammy missed a WIDEOPEN Ertz for a 60 yard TD, he also missed a WIDEOPEN receiver in the end zone, announcers even alluded to him over throwing receivers! (probably receivers fault for not running faster?) speaking of drops, Washington dropped two easy interceptions!
You talk about if we would have had him this year, Sammys ability to throw the ball would have prevented defenses from stacking the box, I call BS, defenses stacked the box Sammys whole career with the Rams, teams dared him to throw the ball, and he still did as he still does today, dink and dunk!

As far as Kelly wanting him next year, it's as others have already said, what's he going to say?

Keep using the oline sucks, his receivers suck, his OC sucks all BS excuses. Tannehill, Bortles, Martiota, Brady, Rodgers, among others have all experienced the same issues, yet they have had better yearS than Sammy has EVER had!

Stop with the excuses and face the fact that Sammy is average at best, he has NEVER "led" any of his teams to a winning record and there a good chance that will never happen!

Again you are wrong he's ranked 12th in the league by PFF a respected rating system that takes many things into factory. Like Oline play, Drops etc. oh and the other guy you don't want on the Rams Brees is ranked 6th!!

What Bradford can and cant do seems debatable. He most assuredly will be signed by someone. But there is one thing Bradford is elite at. That is laughing all the way to the bank.

Coug, I'm sure glad that you recently stumbled onto that site, because now you strictly go by it just because it shows your boy in a somewhat good light!

I've already showed you numerous examples of how ridiculous "it can be", just one being Reynolds, Mason, and Cunningham all being ranked as better RBs than Murray!

Their rankings are a form of Sabermetrics, which says if this and that happened you could possibly say this "might" happen!

The only way you could ever go by that is to put every QB in the league behind Sammys oline, with Sammies WR, and Sammys system. Like someone else said, do you seriously think NE would have 12 wins with Sammy at QB, seriously doubt it!

The rankings that I and others are using are based on what has actually happened and what Sammy has actually done or not done!

I would think if he (Bradford) was to do well it would be with NE. They are a plug and play team. He would do well.

Do well as what, a backup? They are a plug and play team because of the constant presence of Tom Brady, who wants to play for many more years btw.

No as a starter. It was hypothetical. Brady has nothing to do with plug and play.

I don't want him. We are more than a QB away from making the playoffs, he will be 37 and he's not mobile, that doesn't bode well with our moline that isn't good, "yet", our receivers aren't very good.

And I agree with you, why would he want to finish his career with a team that hasn't been to the playoffs and is probably a year or two away?

they are not BS. Its Pro Football Focus. one of the most respected rating systems.

HOW WE GRADE
Our approach to rating is thorough, one of a kind, and goes beyond the surface of the game. heres an explanation of how they grade. they actually watch every play and break it down.

STEP 1
We grade. An analyst grades every single player and every single play on a scale of -2 to +2.

STEP 2
We grade again. The initial grading is reviewed by a second analyst to ensure accuracy.

STEP 3
We grade a third time. The second analyst’s grading is checked by a third analyst. You can never be too careful.

STEP 4
We verify. Our grades are verified by the Pro Coach Network and their 400 years of combined NFL and college coaching experience.

STEP 5
Advanced Normalization: The raw grades (as seen in our Premium Stats) are normalized to better account for the situation; this ranges from where the player lined up to the drop-back depth of the quarterback, to everything in between.

STEP 6
We set the grade. Convert to 1-100 scale.

look I'm not saying he's the best QB in the league but i think that grading system gives a better idea of whats really going on. I actually like it because it shows him right where i think he should be. 10-14 range. but it does make me curious how high he would be with a good D and WR's.

If Philly's defense sucks so bad, well then how did they put up 21 points against the New England "Tom Brady led offense?? .......please respond!!
Not that I care, but I believe I have the answer to your question zeke.

As I recall, the Pats were missing both Edleman and Gronk for the Philly game (That is why I took the points in that game)

When on the field together both require a double team so teams can't match up, so Bill and Tom take advantage with good game planning and good play respectively.

When you take that scenario away from the Tom Brady led offense, the Pats are less than average.

Even with Gronk back, as evidenced this weekend, decent teams like the Jets can take them down.

Pro Football Focus provides, by way of good money, stats to 40 percent of the league to be exact.

I'd say that's significant and meaningful LTRF!
