No problem, Wastin.

And there's this:
Anthony Andro ‏@aandro 2m
Rangers manager Ron Washington said team will know more on Scheppers after he sees Dr. Keith Meister tonight.

Whatever it is, it doesn't sound good.

Sorry for the double post....not that it matters since I'm getting so little feedback on my post for the past week.

Me and Rangers are in a slump perhaps.

Morales does it again with a three-run double to left-center field for his third hit of the day. It's 6-0 #MNTwins in the seventh

Kinda hurts, but whatever.

And if it didn't work out the Twins would be able to trade him at the deadline. It's disappointing we didn't sign him.

that's a losers mentality. More top 10 picks don't make a splash than do.

sorry, it's an open forum where your hot sports opinions get questioned from time to time and you throw a lot out there

It's realistic. This team isn't winning. Might as well try to keep the pick and I know the success rate.

That's not really much of an investment for us to have passed on IMO.

I think we got more insurance money back from Prince/Harry to have more than covered this.

I'm not bemoaning the fact we didn't sign him. Just saying it wasn't much of an investment - either in dollars or time - and would have given the fan base something to be encouraged about anyway.

That was what I was saying all along. We'll get more than that back from the insurance on Fielder and Harrison

This is not actually the line up, just who's left on the team.

Nobody is afraid of the first 3 hitters in that lineup at the moment

Unfortunately, high draft picks - in all professional sports - pan out about as much as not. Actually probably don't pan out more really.

Pick a sport, and you'll see, there's guys drafted in mid/late rounds, or sometimes not drafted at all, turn into juggernauts in professional sports. While a 1st rounder/can't miss prospect falls over dead.

Predicting by definition, is a very iffy thing.

You can say that again.......HAHA Don

He's in a horrible slump and dealing with a busted ankle.... He isn't going hit in any spot right now.
Then he needs to go on the DL. It's better at this point that he gets better, rather than risking permanent injury in what's become a lost cause...

I think with what we got right now our line up should be:

1. Choo, Lf ( but better off on the DL)
2. Martin, CF
3. Rios, RF
4. Beltre, 3B
5. Gimenez, C
6. Choice, DH
7. 1B
8. Andrus, SS
9. Odor/Sardinas, 2B

Might even have Rios bat 2nd and Beltre 3rd just to insure the bat in the same inning at least once.

I would put Odor 2nd. Rios has to stay behind Beltre IMO. Choice is still hitless as the lead-off hitter, and Choo doesn't have a hit either with Choice in the leadoff spot and him 3rd. I just don't get it. When the line-up is producing, Wash changes it. When it's not he rolls it our there day after day.
