James 25 points, Doncic 28 points, and Reaves 29 points. Excellent even scoring by the big three Lakers.

Hayes only has 2 points and Goodwin did shit on the Offense and we just signed him to the standard contract.

The Lakers have to play Defense. They are letting the Grizzlies shoot threes at the end again. Didn;t learn much from Chicago apparently.

DONE. Now that is the way to shut the door late in the Fourth Quarter. Now the lakers can get on the plane with the win and go home for a Monday game against the Rockets. Nice win, finally!!

They got lazy and had major lapses in Defense in the last two minutes of that Chicago game. And of course everybody knows what James did in that same time period.

Oh I agree with ya, UK Caboy. There aren't too many scenarios where those four didn't beat your ass, that is for sure and for as long as they played, the conditions and outcomes were pretty close to that edict!

They weren't a big part of the game plan this time. Hayes got 17 minutes and 4 fouls and Goodwin only 8 minutes. Even Vando only played 10 minutes. It was Lebron, Rui, AR, DFS, Luka and Gabe with the most court time.

This game showed exactly why the Lakers won’t go far in the playoffs.

Defensive lapses and untimely turnovers that plague this team.

They had a 20 point lead on the Grizz in the 2nd. Not only do good teams not blow those kind of leads, the Lakers basically gave it all back in a manner of a few minutes.

Same thing happen in Chicago when they had a 6 pt lead with 12 seconds to go and gave it away.

Good teams put their opponents away, not choke big leads or late game leads.

I think a lot of that is still on Lebron. I don't think he's putting anywhere near the effort defensively that he was giving before the injury. AR and Luka should be able to carry enough of the offensive workload to allow him to save more energy for defense.

As far as last night, certain things seemed problematic. They had nobody to really deal with the Grizz' height for one, gave up rebounds and put backs to Lurch as a result. I don't understand how JJJ gets those 3s off without being contested more, as he seems to shoot from his waist like a 9 year old. The lack of a perimeter defender (they didn't use Goodwin much at all) let the Grizz' guards dominate their scoring.

I agree, Shopson. James would do himself a favor by playing more and better consistent Defense. His scoring is not so much the issue as his Defensive lapses which are becoming more prevalent and def more overt!

He would also do himself a favor by losing this obvious choice or need to demand that he get away with all of this flopping and traveling that has been prevalent over the past year or so. That behavior is beneath him!!

I don't see this big flopping issue that some have with him. Does he occasionally exaggerate to get a call? Sure. I don't care if he occasionally embarrasses himself with a bad acting job.

The much larger issue are the calls he doesn't get without that exaggeration that he stays back and argues instead of getting back on defense.
