The Celtics are missing threes like no tomorrow!

2nd night of a back to back after an OT game is always tough. However, doesn't explain away the bad shooting when they were still fresh in the first half. Celtics just did not have it tonight.

Nobody is going to take Vande's contract without extra draft capital being attached, so he's out.

1sts will only be used if the can find a piece for now and the future (a la Kessler).
I seriously doubt that since he doesn't make a lot.....he makes just under 11 mill, which I believe is under the MLE.....he is a good defender off the bench and a solid role player.

....hasn't played in a calendar year, after missing a lot of time prior to that injury, has 3 more years on his contract (2 and a player option), etc. Teams want expiring contracts first and foremost, being overly cautious about longer contracts under this new CBA.

Um, you really need to read better.....in the comment you quoted.....I said a difference maker.

Needs to be a YOUNG difference maker. Just being more exclusive in targets, as Jimmy would be a difference maker, but not for the future. Same with guys like Vuc in their early to mid 30s. Since the Lakers would be moving picks in 2029 and 2031, I'm sure they want the target to still potentially be viable that far down the road as well.

I would agree with you if Vandy made more than he does....

20-25 mill? Sure. But, the last year of his deal? Is a player option of 13.3 mill.....that will be way under the MLE with the way the cap goes up every season.

I don't see too many of those guys available currently. Kessler (not sure how available he truly is), Cam maybe. Price is still really high on both (pick wise) and will have competition for both.

I really hope Rob doesn't take last night's game and Vando's return Saturday as reasons to stand pat. The Lebron window is shrinking by the day. Even if he could keep playing, doesn't mean he will. (Still think he waits and sees how Bryce's freshman year goes to see if he could potentially play with/against Bryce as well)

Bruce Brown dude in Toronto is being watched by the Lakers. They are waiting to see if Toronto buys him out. If so, the Lakers will go after him to fulfill their backcourt need. The Center need is much more cloudy and it may not happen this year because the market sample size is very small.

Haven't the Rams nailed enough draft picks of late to ease up on the Snead bashing?
Don't know the answer to that question. Like in other pro sports, you can never have enough draft picks. You should know that by now, Shopson.

Lakers can't sign a buyout player that is currently making more than the MLE due to being over the 1st apron. That simply cannot happen.
