Why would do we want to trade for a Center who is average playing Defense? We already have that in Kokolo and Jemison and both of those guys as well as DFS can shoot more on offense if told to do so. Plus, the Bulls are going to ask for assets that either the Lakers don't want to give-up or don't have. He is way too expensive for the Lakers at this time. Trading for this guy is just not a good idea and if the Lakers do cough-up what the Bulls want, they are doing so just to assuage the "DO-A-TRADE-NOW hysteria that is not motivating the Lakers to even consider him.

We need another big.....AD is a good enough defender to play him at PF and he can he help cover up Vuc's shortcomings there....Vuc would give us size with twin towers so to speak....and he can help relieve the rebounding load off both AD and Bron.
