Redick and the Lakers have already stated that Hachimura and Reaves are not going to be traded. I do like the lifitng and trading the First rounder and Wood for Walker Kessler. That would be a beneficail trade all-around.

Reaves was a given. I still think Rui is expendable in the right deal. If they want someone like Lonzo or Bruce Brown, he's the easiest path to matching those salaries.

Pelinka has got to make a deal with Hachimura, Vandy, maybe Gabe (although I like how he is finally playing) and a 1st or maybe both 1st rounders to land a difference maker.

Nobody is going to take Vande's contract without extra draft capital being attached, so he's out.

1sts will only be used if the can find a piece for now and the future (a la Kessler).

I think you saw this DJ, but Redick and the Lakers' FO have already stated that Reaves and Hachimura are not going to be traded. I relayed this to Shopson as well. They are going to have to find another way to get a diff maker. Perhaps they will wait for Toronto to buy-out Brown and then sign him. Who knows.

Lakers can't sign any buyout player that was making more than the MLE since they are over the 1st apron.

Yep ALR. I agree. Pelinka is as bad or worse than Snead when it comes to whiffing on excellent players for players that turn out to be dogshit!

Haven't the Rams nailed enough draft picks of late to ease up on the Snead bashing?
