Yep. All the talk about how Redick was going to do things differently and be the next Riley. Looks as though it turned out to be a lot of bullshit.

The Lakers still have a chance to trade for Brandon Ingram who could very well provide the Offense and some D in the paint that the Lakers need.

The Lakers are 0-2 since Hachimura has returned from injury and been inserted into the starting lineup.

Bench him and go with Westside Knecht/Knecht 4.

Both have started the last two games; Reddish went to the bench. Knecht has not been as hot shooting lately.

I said it before. Lakers wont make the playoffs. They spent all their time trying to make washed up Lebron and his unqualified for the NBA baby happy instead of going out and putting legit pieces around AD

How dare they not use that late 2nd rounder on a lottery talent lol. They passed on such elite talents as Kevin McCullar Jr, Ulrich Chomche and Ariel Hukporti and the grand total of 17 minutes played between them.

He's an option of course (especially now that he's a Klutch client). Depends on the cost though, and he was asking for a max extension. He misses a lot of games each year.

We have about 2 weeks until the summer signings are eligible for trade. Things might start moving then. However, teams are still asking for the multiple firsts for a lot of their available players (and will continue to do so until we get closer to the deadline).

Do you know what they could have gotten if they ditched grandad LeOLD? LOL. Oh edit. Now they’re getting destroyed by the Heat. Won’t make the playoffs. I’m telling you

40 point blow out and LeBron is giggling and laughing, Didn't play a lick of D all night (well he hasn't in years really but whatever). . AD has thrown in the towel on the team. Time to blow it up. And fire Reddick Dude isn’t cut out for the gig

Yep. It is quite apparent that Redick is no new sensation and not what LeBron forecasted. The same problems that have plagued the Lakers the last two or three years appear to be still evident with a few twists. This present version of the Lakers have just flat-out surrendered to away games as the latest ass-whippin by the Heat attests to with the biggest being motivation to even be competitive. It really is time for LeBron to retire.

Yeah, the guy putting up 29/5/8 in 29 minutes is the problem lol. 12-18 from the field.

Nobody on the team was defending or blocking out for rebounds. Well, maybe the kids (Christie, Knecht) and Reddish.

Firing JJ is not in the cards lol. He has plenty of vet leadership among his assistants to support him.

should have won that game. Lakers blew it with stupid mistakes especially from AD. I don’t know how many times I gotta say it. Better to blow it up NOW and start rebuilding then think lebron/AD is gonna win another title

Anything less than a title is a failure when you got lebron and AD and this point they won’t even make the post season. So blow it up

Redick is now entering into that window of whispers that his hiring has solved nothing. Lakers are falling near the lottery pick regions of the season with that loss.

Reddick now almost pushed out? .. More revolving door of coaches that will prove nothing since the real problem is Lebron. He brings the problems. More problems than he does solutions.

- Lebron dictating team management actions i.e. which players stay and which players go..

-ZERO defense since he got to the Lakers. Good luck winning titles when your "leader" refuses to play Defense and never even be held accountable for lack of defense/

- Lebron will cycle through coaches; in six years the Lakers have had Luke Walton, Frank Vogel, Darvin Ham, and now JJ Reddick. No team will succeed with turnstile coaching

- Lebron's sideshows between leveraging his son onto the team, Klutch Sports, and Lebron stat chasing any team Lebron has been on always have difficulties improving internally from season to season

- Lebron will always mortgage a teams future to win now. How much young talent has left the Lakers, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, Alex Caruso, KCP, and THT. Lebron is good at getting rid of young players and bringing in old fossils.

Then Lebron's actual play on the court. I don't give one whit about those stats Lebron puts up. Those are empty, cherry picking, run when I want to run stats. Lebron hasn't played in defense since he got to LA.. Thus the only title was the shortened bubble title that basically wasn't even a real one anyways. Lakers could have brought in a superstar with no selfish agenda to go with AD and Lakers would be contenders would be contenders for a title now EASY. Now they have to blow it up and wait a few more years. Lebron'ing it up just set them back 4-5 years. Never should have brought him in to begin with. Probably should have just had a Durant/AD combo if they wanted to go the "instant ring" route. Lebron will run up an empty stat sheet and the end result will be nothing but LOSSES.

Relax.

It's not even 1/3 of the way into his rookie season....the roster isn't good enough. The bench has sucked all season....Rob needs to be working on a deal....

Bron isn't playing defense? He is no longer an elite defender but he is still playing defense as well as any almost 40yo can. Vs the Hawks? 3 blocks and 2 steals to go with his 39 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

Those young players we got rid of to get AD? Resulted in a title....not to mention right now we have Westside Knecht and Reaves....and Christie is starting to show he can play offense as well as on the defensive end, his strength.

When your star players are making bad decisions that lose games, there's not a lot he can do or say that will sway someone like Lebron (maybe AD).

I would put their struggles partially on learning JJ's new sets and partially on Rob for basically punting the offseason. Other than drafting the sliding Knecht, Rob hasn't achieved much of anything since the Westbrook trade (coming up on 2 years at the deadline), and that was merely a correction of his terrible move to acquire Westbrook in the first place..
