Yes, and now they are about to jettison those players that got them to the WCF just to “fix” the team now.

Personally, I think it’s more Ham’s “system” then it is the players.

He’s not a great coach and doesn’t game plan well at all. They almost always come out flat after halftime. There is rarely a 3rd quarter the Lakers actually score more points than their opponents. That’s on the HC and lack of adjustments.

Reaves or Russell and Vincent were supposed to be that and so was Vanderbilt. None of them consistently materialized. Woods was supposed to be that too. He is only good defensively for the bigs. I suspect that Pelinka wants a third on offense. Murray would fit that role!

We do not have the multiple 1st rounders Atlanta would want in return.....

The problem is, Ham’s rotations are garbage.

Russell has always been inconsistent, so expecting him to be the #3 was always wishful thinking.

Reaves can be a #3, but I think he was worn out from the summer at the start of the season and came out flat. He has been playing much more consistently now.

And Rui just never gets consistent minutes to be consistent. He should be averaging 25+ mins per game, yet Ham has his minutes all over the map. The Lakers don’t have a big with his skill set outside of AD, and yet they are talking about trading him away. So stupid.
