I think Pelinka is get lured in believing Hachimura and DRuss are expendable and then they should be traded for some old players from the Bulls or even Hield. That kind of mistake will kill a Lakers playoffs run. Just leave well enough alone because both of those players provide stability. They provide chemistry and so what if they are a tad inconsistent. Lebron James and AD are still missing FTs in games. Hell James still misses layups. Does that mean they should be traded? Hell no. Especially this year. So, I believe Pelinka should just let all the talk pass right by him and let the team continue to progress.

100% agree.

The Lakers don’t need a trade. They need to get everyone back healthy. That’s what they need.

And Ham needs to continue to figure out his rotations and minutes for certain players.

The team is good enough to win as constructed. It’s up to Ham to make it work.

I don’t get it.

There just aren't many options if they do want to make a trade, and if everyone is healthy, where do Rui's minutes come from? Vando can't be traded, so it falls on Rui. I don't want to move him either, for what that's worth.

A small move (maybe something like Hayes for Xavier Tillman, better rebounder and defender even if 6'9) makes more sense to me. Could have Vincent back soon (if not tonight, as it looks like he's still out); he could be another trade option if his fit with this roster doesn't work.

The Lakers got Chicago and Minnesota on a back-to-backer, then get OKC on Saturday and all three games are AWAY. This could easily be 1 win and 2 losses. Or even three-straight losses the way they are playing!!

Gabe Vincent probable for the Chicago game (finally). Davis and Lebron are questionable (as usual) and JHS is out. Sounds like they could be more or less at full strength tonight.
