Plus, he let's his play and defense do the talkin and he doesn't run his mouth like Bev did. Schrooder is def a keeper and the Lakers really should do everything they can to accommodate the guy because he came back on a one-year, "prove-it" deal. He has earned the right to stay. Same for Hach, DRus, and Reaves. All have proven the right to be extended or get a new contract and stay and the Lakers who can afford all four. It would just be the league regulation that puts some binders on the Lakers through the CBA.

We can go over the cap to keep our guys and the Lakers have no issue paying the luxury tax.

Schroder is a must.....with Bev gone.

He plays some dogged defense. And he is in his prime, more than Bev is.

I think they can find another defensive PG if they need to. If he wants a decent raise, I could see the Lakers looking elsewhere. He has been valuable, no doubt, but they have their limitations with so many other mouths to feed.

Brooks is employing the same strategy Draymond Green has been using for nearly a decade and that is to talk trash and run your mouth to get into the head of James. LeBron has been around far too long to fall for this ploy and Brooks is going to regret doing what he did in Memphis. If James comes out and has a crappy game, it will just feed the intended purpose.
