I hope the Lakers keep Walker, re-sign Schroeder, and extend DLo this summer. They have a really good team developing for the coming seasons. Hachimura is the obvious anomaly but Bamba, Gabriel, Christie, Reaves, and guys like that should be keepers.

Onward we go Sunday in Houston. I hope we get revenge for that disastrous loss to the Rockets in LA a couple of weeks ago. We could use the win to get to 40 wins on the year.

If the Lakers run the table and finish at 44-38, they could conceivably pass the W's and be in 6th spot outright. We are now solidly in 7th spot and gaining. We need wins wherever we can get them starting Sunday in Houston.

I agree Shopson and DJ. Ham continues to be a glaring idiot and all four players mentioned by DJ had a great night burying the Bulls and repaying them for the loss in LA. Now the Lakers need to finish-out the season with an above .500 record and get into the top 6 teams if possible.

I wouldn't be quite that severe, but there is certainly room for improvement for Ham. He did better tonight, with the only question being where did Beasley disappear to after a hot start. The guards that were on the floor did well in the 2nd half, so no worries.

That bizarre sequence with AD on floor in pain for several possessions ended up +5 for the Lakers are really spurred that Lakers run in the 3rd. Then AD ends up staying in the game; the season was flashing before my eyes with AD holding that ankle on the floor...

I think Walker is gone with his minutes going to Christie next season. Rui depends on his asking price. If he's 10m per or less, I think he's back.

I often wonder what happens to Ham when he loses guys in his rotations. What causes a HC to forget players who demonstrate they are playing well early in a given game and then, poof, they are gonso for the rest of the game. Doesn't make a lick of sense.

Well maybe like OBJ in football, Hachimura will see the wisdom of lowering his asking price to get to come back a team that is developing into a pretty strong team that may be a perennial contender down the road.
