Yeah....I would approach that Indy trade again....Just a heads up
Lakers have 4 players under contract
Reaves is an rfa
Walker with limited bird rights
And they have like 34m in cap space, plus 11 empty roster spots
They need to make moves now even if they’re more for next year
Yeah....I would approach that Indy trade again....
Even without AD....Hield and Turner can help out a lot. Better reinforcements than what we have right now. James can't do it with what we have presently. Except for the rare win over Denver. The exception, not the rule.
I get it....I’m just saying that you’re cap space really isn’t that much when you consider all the empty roster spots
You are trading picks not only to try to get in this year, but to secure bird rights as well
I get it....
And if it involves Turner....he is a C (allowing AD to play PF) who can shoot.
At his age.....SF is what James should be playing, not PF. Banging with other PF's can lead to injuries.Allowing AD to play PF isn't necessarily ideal though. That pushes Lebron to the 3 and on down the line...
No chance we get all 3 of them.If the Lakers can get both proposed deals done by adding Shield and Turner AND Kuzma, that would be the ultimate and the beginnings of replacing all three of James, AD, and RW.
