Rumors that Pelinka is willing to listen to deals for AD. Per Bill Simmons.

Not sure how true it is though.

Another trade scenario involving Westbrook. This one is with San Antonio. Richardson and McDermott for Westbrook and draft capital. The latter has stalled the talks because the Lakers do not want to give ANYBODY those number ones. Give them a Second Rounder.

If we dealt say AD and a 2nd rounder to the Bulls for DeRozan, Caruso and a 1st rounder that'd be a decent deal. We'd have a decent 1-2 punch in James and DeRozan with RW off the bench.

And in the offseason we let RW walk saving those 1st rounders.....we'd have James and DeRozan plus we could go after a big....or Irving?

With the way Westbrook is playing off the bench, it shouldn’t take giving up both 1st rounders to trade him.

And only getting one 1st rounder in an AD trade is bad considering what the Lakers gave up to get AD in the first place.

3 young prospects, (3) 1st round pick plus pick swaps.

AD isn't the same player though. They get DeRozan, Caruso and 1, maybe 2 picks and that isn't too bad.

DeRozan could play with James really well. Good scorer and also a good passer. Caruso comes back home and we have a pick or 2 for the future.

Trading RW will still require a 1st to move him.

That's not a bad deal DJ. We get DeRozan to wipe away the memory of James being the De Facto GM heavily lobbying the Lakers to sign Westbrook when they had a shot at signing DeRozan and it would be self-forgiving for letting Caruso walk in the first place.

We shall see if Pelinka pulls the trigger on any of the new round of suggested trades like the Richardson-McDermott San Antonio deal for Westbrook and a Number 1 and this one with Chicago.

Nah, I can't get with that one. DeRozan isn't that different from Westbrook in that they're poor defensively and lack 3 pt shooting. Lebron needs shooters around him. DeRozan only made sense when it was him INSTEAD of Westbrook IMO. Even then, not the perfect fit either. AD does make sense going back to Chicago; would Chicago move LaVine (in January though)?

Will Brooklyn start listening to offers for Durant? AD and an unprotected pick could be better than a lot of what they'll be offered. Then move Russ to fill in around Lebron/Durant?

Once again, Lakers are letting James do everything. James has 16 points. He is the only one in double figures. Everyone else is single digits.
