Remember when we signed a former Patriot with the best selling point being that he never fumbled? Then he played for us and..... you know.... fumbled?

All these data about the Patriots amazing fumbling record and deflated footballs suddenly makes sense.

I hope Benny is living a nice life based on the money he made to run the ball for 2.9 yards for us. And I hope he remembers to send Christmas cards to the Krafts, Belichecks, and Bundchens.

I was rooting for the Patriots to win simply because I cannot stand a number of big mouths on the Seahawks. But they've made it too difficult.

Go Seahawks!

those are his rushing attempts while in NE. Only going over 200 once in 4 years. Where the pass attempts far outweigh the rush attempts, and multiple backs have always been used.

his attempts while a Bengal. Where you ran him silly playing behind a bad QB and a poorer Oline. Even then he only fumbled 5 times.

But it was 2lbs of pressure??

Be a man for God sakes.

When did the SportsHoopla get so sensitive?

It's not like I talked about Nebraska football or gun regulation.

I think my hate for Sherman and Pete will still lead me to root for the Patriots.

How the heck does the ratio of passing attempts to rushing attempts matter to anything?

Simple math:

510 carries in NE. 0 fumbles.

498 carries in Cincinnati. 5 fumbles. That's 1 fumble every 100 carries. Versus 0 fumbles in 510 carries in NE.

More common sense math:

In 2010 for NE, he had 229 carries.

In 2013 for Cincinnati, he had 220 carries.

Therefore, in that single year in NE he had MORE carries than he had in that single year for Cincinnati. Yet he fumbled 0 times in NE, but 2 times in Cincinnati.

BTW.... That bad qb and bad offensive line had the 8th best passing attack in Benny's 2nd year with us..... That's compared to the 10th best that NE had that year..... And they were the 10th best overall. Probably would have been better with a better tailback.

But good job on the post. I liked it.
