Check out Anthony Thompson, finished second in Heisman voting, won the Walter camp and maxwell award and held the CFB record for touchdowns until Ricky Williams broke it in '98. He'd be top ten.

I couldn't name a single player that played for Nebraska in '89.


Huskers probably had a player on that roster that is better or ended up better later in college career than the guy you said :lol:

No, but a player on that team (Will Shields) went on to win Outland Trophy, consensus all-American, College football Hall of Fame, Pro Football Hall of Fame, 12x Pro Bowler.

Is Tebow any less of a great college player because he hasn't produced in the nfl?

Even with his accolades he still probably isn't a top 5 players if at Nebraska.
