It was because Nebraska won the ESPN Ultimate Team vote. It was a twitter vote thing and Nebraska won last round against Florida State 51-49!

The voting was closer than what it should of been I see!!!!!
The voting the last two days was ridiculous. It was a week long vote and 243,300 total votes but I bet 150k of those were in the last 2 days.
I think Nebraka won 122,200 to 121,100 in final.

I seen a thing posted on FB by EA to either "Like" for Nebraska or "Comment" for FSU. I "Liked", but don't know if it went towards a vote or not...
IU should have won the ultimate team...
The real question is would the best Indiana football player make the top 10 Nebraska players? Yea, probably not. Maybe top 25 they would have a chance
Check out Anthony Thompson, finished second in Heisman voting, won the Walter camp and maxwell award and held the CFB record for touchdowns until Ricky Williams broke it in '98. He'd be top ten.
