I have been watching Outer Range the last few days. I just have the finale left to watch.

It is OK. It hasn’t pulled my attention 100% like some shows do, but it has piqued my curiosity a bit.

I never binge. Watch one or 2 and then watch something else. Binging is for folks with no patience. Like getting shit faced drunk on Friday cause you didn't drink all week.

Rescue North. The GF picks these out. No violence or sexual situations. Strictly PG.

It looks like it ended after a season. A family loses their Mom and moves north from Boston to what looks like Maine but was actually shot in Ontario, I think. Dad's a Search and Rescue guy.

Too much teenage angst. To me, the best character is the penguin. Everyone else is beset with grief, feelings of inadequacy and relationship issues.

Too weird for my tastes. The singing brother seemed to be there no other reason than to make the show kinda edgy (like Twin Peaks weird). And the final reveal was anticlimactic, and really didn’t explain anything.

I am not committing myself to watching a S2. It absolutely has not grabbed me near enough.

In the last few months, the wife and I watched through Narcos, The Good Place, Seinfeld, Ozark, and Bridgerton.

We're currently watching Outer Range and the documentary series The Toys that Made Us.

Even with the abundance of, (illegal), free no-advert tv and film streaming sites on the internet I find I no longer have the patience to sit down and watch several episodes of any particular show. The last whole series I watched was the original Forbrydelsen 1st season, (later remade as The Killing in the US). It still took 2-3 months to watch 20 episodes.

I really enjoyed LMS when it was on ABC but when it went to Fox, the quality went way downhill in my opinion.

I think it was fine. Thought to replace such an established character
